Who I Am
First and foremost I love design. A professor once asked a class if they thought design could change the world. I was never sure the answer but now I am convinced it can.
I began my career as a traditional graphic designer. I loved layout, typography, animation and gradients! I lived in Adobe CC, mainly Illustrator and InDesign.
I then started to branch into the web and digital sphere; I saw it as the future of design. I became obsessed with pixels and CSS. So after I became interested in information architecture and how user actually used interfaces and technology.
I know find myself at the crossroads of design and development. All great UI/UX is grounded in great design. I can design things from single page web sites to full web applications. I am experienced in meeting with clients and users, understanding their needs and concerns and designing solutions that meet both needs. I can then take those prototypes and interface with developers to bring the designs to life.
Design is a passion, not a job.
What’s that logo all about?
What even is it? Funny thing happened on my way to getting my wisdom teeth removed; I aspirated one! The dentist dropped the tooth and the same time I gasped and an unforgettable story was born. At least after two hospitals, an ambulance ride and deliriously navigating a driver home.
